A&E Clothing wholesaler offers used clothes, shoes, bags, and other goods in container loads. Most items come packed in 100 lb bales or 55 lb bags. Browse our catalog for product info, photos, and pricing. Some items might be out of stock at the moment so we advise to call or e-mail us for availability.
HOW MUCH DOES A CONTAINER COST?
The price vastly depends on the type of clothing you are going to order. We are happy to provide you with a quote once we know more about your order. Prices are also given in the catalog.
WHAT WILL I FIND IN ONE BALE OF USED CLOTHING?
In each first category bale, you will find 100 lb of single category goods e.g. 100 lb of women's jeans, 100 lb of men's long sleeve shirts, or 100 lb of winter jackets.
Premium category clothes are usually packed in 55 lb bags. All categories can be found in the catalog.
Each bale/bag is always a mix of brands, sizes (S - XL), and colors.
2. We need 1 week to complete the order & load the container
Usually, it takes about 1 week to complete your order, sometimes it might take a bit longer and we will let you know in advance.
HOW MANY BALES CAN YOU LOAD IN ONE CONTAINER?
Physically container could hold up to 25,000 lb (11,500 kg) in 20 ft container or up to 53,000 lb (24,000 kg) in 40 ft container.
20 ft container can hold up to 250 bales of 100 lb or 450 bags of 55 lb.
40 ft container can hold up to 530 bales of 100 lb or 950 bags of 55 lb.

3. Inland transportation
The cost of inland transportation of a container to the nearest port is about $500. A&E Clothing negotiated good rates with insurance carriers. The average insurance for 20 ft container is $100. For 40 ft container, this cost is around $200.
CAN I ORDER HALF OF THE CONTAINER, 50 BALES, 10 BALES?
There's no minimum order if you:
- pick up items by yourself or an assigned agent from our warehouse
- take care of shipping
WHAT IS THE SIZE OF A SINGLE BALE OR BAG?
100 lb bale is around 32" x 18" x 16" or 80 cm x 45 cm x 40 cm.
55 lb bag has dimensions of 30" x 24" x 15" or 76 cm x 60 cm x 38 cm.
DO YOU SHIP TO OTHER STATES?
We can ship any order within the United States using LTL carrier. The price vastly depends on the weight and distance. Please contact us for details.
4. Sea freight
It takes about 2 weeks for shipment to reach its destination in Central America. It's usually 3-4 weeks to reach any port in Europe. Goods are delivered to most African ports within 4-5 weeks.
Freight cost is subject to frequent updates so we will calculate it for you once we know your order, destination, and container size.
5. Total costs
The cost of container load depends on the items you request. Please review our catalog to get a rough estimate.
Contact us to get an exact quote -please provide a list of clothing items you are interested in. After you specify the port of destination we will be able to calculate freight cost. In cooperation with our long-time partners, we can negotiate one of the lowest shipping rates for our customers.
Please note that we always insure the load so it will safely reach the destination in a timely manner.
We can ship your order to any address within United States
You can place your order via phone or e-mail and we will ship it to any address inside U.S. using a low-cost carrier.
To calculate the shipping rate we need to know the amount of goods you want to buy and the destination address. Products are always sent using 3rd party company so please note that rates may vary.
HOW MUCH WILL BE THE SHIPPING COST OF MY ORDER?
We put some examples on the map. The price depends on the size of the order and the distance from our warehouse. The more bales you get, the cheaper 'cost per bale' will be.
WILL YOU SHIP ONLY A FEW BALES TO OTHER COUNTRY?
Currently, we only send full container loads internationally. If you need our items to be shipped to your country, please contact your local shipping companies that ship from the U.S. and compare their prices.
